Where is the hue and cry about the Freedom of the Press?

Credibility is a fragile thing. The New York Times seems to think they have unlimited amounts of it. I believe they are wrong and I believe that their profits will continue to spiral down as they pursue this leftist agenda they are so fond of these days. Maybe they were always fond of it, but times change and now there are plenty of other places to go to get your news. Careful NYT before you wake up one day to find that you are as popular as Jason Blair.

Read this story about the journalistic standards of the Times...or more correctly the lack thereof.

"Our Lives Depend on Your Re-election" Pierre Legrand - Baton Rouge, La.
President Bush is a man of honor and its easy to see why some believe he was destined to be here in our countries greatest hour of danger. Never in our history have we faced the danger we face now; never in our history has an enemy plainly desired to kill us in our cities murdering for the sheer bloody joy of seeing our misery. We will need President Bush's steadiness in the coming war. This war is unique not only in the desire of the enemy to murder us in vast numbers but also unique in that the public only hears whispers of the enemy before thousands of us die. Unlike any war in the past our enemy hides, forcing the president to remind many of us constantly of our mortal danger. How easy would it be for a feckless, easily swayed president to declare the war won? Just as President Clinton did when those same terrorists attempted to murder up to 250,000 of us.

Pray that we don't elect that man in 2004. John Kerry will surely take the easy road, since he prefers to be loved by the foreigners than to be respected by his own countrymen. He will do what President Clinton did, arrest a few people and declare the war won.

Remember he was a leader in a group that blamed the 9/11 attacks on the United States. If you don't believe me read their statement on that attack. The stakes have never been higher in any election in our countries history. President Bush must win. "

(comment I sent this to Opinion Journal in a hurry and I forgot to cite the WTC93 attack as being the one where up to 250,000 were planned to die and I should mention that Im talking about Vietnam Vets Against the war and their statement on 9/11.)

DRUDGE REPORT 2004 Kerry calls Agent Son of a Bitch:
hehehe....Oh boy this wasn't very nuanced. I guess its alright to call the person charged with protecting your life a son of a bitch....course if I were one of those agents I might just step aside if something bad were to happen.

KERRY CALLED SECRET SERVICE AGENT 'SON OF A B*TCH' AFTER SLOPE SPILL
Dem presidential candidate John Kerry called his secret service agent a 'son of a bitch' after the agent inadvertently moved into his path during a ski mishap in Idaho, sending Kerry falling into the snow. Then asked a moment later about the incident by a reporter on the ski run, Kerry said sharply, 'I don't fall down,' the 'son of a b*itch knocked me over.'

Fawning doesnt even do this report justice. I bet if he could this reporter would have sex with Kerry. Hey John who are those foreign leaders?

These are the sorts of articles that do tremendous damage to the cause. We cannot fight the war with this sort of nonsense being passed off as serious thought. There is not a single FACT in this entire article; instead, we have opinions of the famous un-named sources. My feelings on un-named sources in these grave days are this, anything to do with the war is important enough to make a stand. Any idea worth repeating is worth backing with your honor and name. Why is it that we accept such grave pronouncements in days of such import from un-named sources? Would anyone accept information in a matter of life or death from an un-named caller? Would you stake your children's life on it? Absurd to imagine and yet we do it every day with sources that affect how we defend ourselves. Un-named sources are more in line with budget battles and scandals, not a war as desperate as what we are fighting, where a mistake can cost thousands of lives.

Bold font for the offending article everything else is a response.
Iraqi exile group fed false information to news media: "Iraqi exile group fed false information to news media"

So lets take a quick look at some of the "facts". Here is the first accusation.

The former Iraqi exile group that gave the Bush administration exaggerated and fabricated intelligence on Iraq also fed much of the same information to leading newspapers, news agencies and magazines in the United States, Britain and Australia.
-------------
In fact, many of the allegations came from the same half-dozen defectors, weren't confirmed by other intelligence and were hotly disputed by intelligence professionals at the CIA, the Defense Department and the State Department.

Lets see we have crucial intelligence, is it flatly rejected by all of the intelligence professionals? Nope its hotly disputed. Hotly disputed means that there are some who think it merits attention and some who are so blind you could hit them upside the head with a 767 and they still wouldnt get it.

Other Iraqi groups made similar allegations about Iraq's links to terrorism and hidden weapons that also found their way into official administration statements and into news reports, including several by Knight Ridder.

Oops didn't this article just a few lines back claim that the intelligence wasn't confirmed by other intelligence, and yet here are other intelligence assets giving the same picture. What exactly is the definition of corroboration? For some obviously the only evidence that would be considered legitimate is a video of Bin Laden and Saddam talking about their love child Mohammed Atta.

Saddam collaborated for years with bin Laden and was complicit in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Intelligence officials said there is no evidence of operational ties between Iraq and al-Qaida, and no evidence of an Iraqi hand in the attacks.

This is a combination of outright misinformation and wishful misinformation. The outright lie is that intelligence officials said there was no evidence of operational ties between Iraq and Al Queda. George Tenet I would imagine qualifies as an Intelligence official and he has made repeated statements about the operational ties going back ten years. Here in his own words he dismisses those in the press who state that the CIA dismisses linkage between the Al Queda and Saddam. Keep in mind that this statement was in 2002 when he didnt have the advantage of all the information we have now.
George Tenet 2002 Senate Testimony.
There was a press story today that said CIA dismisses these linkages. Well, you don't dismiss linkages when you have a group like al-Qa'ida who probably buys and sells all kinds of capabilities for people who have converging interests, whether Sunni or Shi'a, and how they mixed and matched training capabilities, safe harboring, and money is something we're taking a look at.

The wishful misinformation is hope that the Saddam link to 9/11 won't be pressed. The fact of the matter is Atta went to Prague more than once and the Czech Foreign minister stands by his intelligence service in stating that the saw Atta meeting with Al Ani the Iraqis "Ambassador". But more on the 9/11 is ahead in this article. The Bush administration should be pushing this story, linking Saddam to all of his terrorism was always the surest bet to have the backing of the American People.

Another defector told one interviewer that the aircraft fuselage on which Islamic extremists received training in hijacking belonged to a Boeing 707 and was quoted in a later story as saying that it came from a Russian-made Tupolev.

Some of the information, such as the charge that Iraq ran a terrorist training camp in Salman Pak, found its way into administration statements, including a Sept. 12, 2002, White House paper.

Many articles quoted defectors as saying that Saddam was training extremists from throughout the Muslim world at Salman Pak, outside Baghdad.

"We certainly have found nothing to substantiate that," said a senior U.S. official.
Instead, he said, U.S. intelligence analysts believe that Iraqi counterterrorism units practiced anti-hijacking techniques on an aircraft fuselage at the site.

Marines capture suspected terrorist training camp By RAVI NESSMAN, Associated Press
SALMAN PAK, Iraq (AP) - The rusted shell of an old passenger jet sat out in a field, its tail broken off. Good for hijacking practice, U.S. Marines speculated Sunday as they examined an Iraqi training base about 20 miles south of Baghdad. The Americans also found a full obstacle course - with wooden walls and other barriers to be climbed over or crawled under - as well as a three-story concrete tower draped with ropes, apparently for rappelling. President Saddam Hussein's regime has said the camp, part of a larger military reservation in a bend of the Tigris River, was used for anti-terrorism training for Iraqi Special Forces. But U.S. officials and others have long suspected the camp trained terrorists.

The absurd claim swallowed hook line and sinker by the CIA that the Airliner was used to train Saddam's anti terror squads is just too much to bear. Anyone in the CIA who believes that tripe should not only be fired but shot. What is going to be next, that those mobile bio warfare labs really only supplied Hydrogen to balloons...oh wait they are trying that nonsense.

Right now the evidence of Saddams links to terror are undeniable. He has engaged in terrorist acts, he stands as the only head of state to attempt to assassinate a Former US President coincidently by using the terrorist tool of choice a truck bomb. The left attempts to deride this by stating that George W Bush cannot bring us to war for revenge of an attack on his Daddy, avoiding the fact that his father was a US President. Also avoiding the fact that his father gave Saddam plenty of reason to hate him and Saddam did what he knew best, he tried to blow him up. The evidence of this is attempt isnt disputed by anyone serious about the truth. President Clinton believed the evidence enough to launch a punitive raid on Iraq.

He provided sanctuary to Abdul Yasin the Second most important person in the attempt to kill over 250,000 people by collapsing the South Tower into the North in the 93 WTC bombing. Dear old Yasin was the assistant bombmaker, a bomb that may stand as the largest truck bomb assembled. The crater this bomb left was six stories high in the basement of the WTC. He gave sanctuary to Abu Nidal one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, who committed suicide by shooting himself in the head hundreds of times. Supposedly, Abu Nidal refused to train some of the Arab terrorists because they were so loony. But none of this apparently is enough to believe that Saddam had ties to Al Queda...apparently only a picture of Saddam and Bin Laden sharing a latte over a video of NYC burning would be enough to convince Knight Ridder.

But for the rest of us it pays to listen to what James Woolsey had to say about intelligence.

James Woolsey, let me ask you first. Is there any direct evidence of a connection between the September Eleventh hijackers and Iraq?
Woolsey: It depends on what you mean by direct. Much of intelligence is hearsay, and would not be admissible for example in a court. There’s some very suggestive evidence. For example, there are at least five individual witnesses -- two American inspectors and three Iraqi defectors -- who tell us about Iraqi government training of non-Iraqi Arabs at Salman Pak, on the southern edge of Baghdad, on an old Boeing 707 [aircraft], in hijacking techniques, including hijacking with knives. Now is that direct evidence? It strikes me that it’s pretty darn suggestive evidence. Would it alone convict Saddam in a court before a jury beyond a reasonable doubt? Probably not. But there’s more

The Bush administration after having diddled around so long that Saddam was able to hide or move his WMD's needs to hammer these points home to regain some of the lost trust the fiasco of David Kay caused. By the way, David Kay needs to visit the woodshed and the question needs to be asked was he turned in the same fashion as Scott Ridder? Given the stakes, some loosening of the rules about intelligence is in order to give a better picture to the American Public of what we are facing. I believe that the Feith Memo was an attempt to do just this but it needs to be followed up. Hammer it home.

Absolutely no way that the Democrats will be stupid enough to actually nominate the Haughty French Looking Married into Money Senator John Kerry as their candidate for President. He is getting beat about the head and shoulders like a step child and the serious stuff hasnt even started yet.

And double bummer for him if that High Ranking Al Queda Terrorist cornered in the bad country between Pakistan and Afganistan turns out to be either Bin Laden or Al-Zawahri. How does he explain how the war on terror is being mismanaged if we are killing or capturing all the terrorists?

What I would love to see at this point is the Bush administration go on the offensive about the Connections between Al Queda and Saddam Hussein. Even if it means comprimising some intelligence the stakes are high enough to warrant it. I dont mean to win the Election, I mean to start countering the snowball gathering speed in the world about Iraq. The links are there and they need to start highlighting them. Get back on the offensive. There is no reason to apologize for our liberation of Iraq. But there is every reason for us to remind everyone that Saddam was allied to Al Queda.

After thanking the people who voted in the Socialists into power in Spain the Al Queda went on to say they are backing Bush. In an absurd attempt to not overplay its victory in Spain the Al Queda today tried laying some child psychology onto the US by claiming that it backed Bush instead of Kerry. Because you know from time to time Kerry does come around to saying, that there are moments in the day where he could imagine, that the entity that is the Al Queda or a group that has a similar sort of name with goals that resemble them might very well be considered really bad houseguests....you know someone you wouldnt really want to invite to supper. And that means of course that Kerry would be the death of Al Queda because Al Queda cant imagine being invited to dinner at Kerry's house...and would die from embarrassment.

Its not time to get overconfident but man oh man this election is really gonna be fun. Saturday Night Live couldnt do a character as pompous and devious as Kerry.

UPDATE:
Oh yea an they called off the attacks against Spain...muahaha...these guys are such a bunch of LOSERS. Kill them quicker please.

International News Article | Reuters.com
WE WANT BUSH TO WIN The statement said it supported President Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization." "Because of this we desire you (Bush) to be elected." The group said its cells were ready for another attack and time was running out for allies of the United States. "Whose turn is it next? Will it be Japan or America, or Italy, Britain or Oslo or Australia?" the statement said, adding Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were also targets. The group is named after Muhammed Atef, also known as Abu Hafs, a close bin Laden aide killed in the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan.

If one were to sit down and examine all the assumptions about terror the Clinton Administration made that were absolutely bizarre two would stand out. The first of course was the decision to treat the WTC 93 bombing as a Law Enforcement issue which effectively, because of the laws separating criminal investigations from espionage investigations, sealed the fate on being able to gather enough information about the perpetrators to find out whether there was state involvement. Hint, there was involvement by Iraq, effectively documented by Laurie Mylroie and recently confirmed by our forces in Iraq.

Consider this when you wonder why this was such a grievous error. The Terrorists who bombed the WTC in 93 weren't some bunch of incompetent idiots who we should dismiss as bumbling fools. The head Bombmaker was a person who was identified, Ms. Mylroie shows this is probably a stolen identity, as Ramseh Yousef who far from being incompetent devised an ingenious altitude activated bomb made from common materials that were disassembled prior to deployment. He planned to use it in an attempt to down 12 US Airliners. His plan to destroy the WTC in 1993 would have caused as many as 250,000 deaths when one building collapsed into the other bringing them both down. And yet the Clinton Administration refused to even believe that it was a terror attack at first. When they did finally accept that it was a terrorist attack they approached the attempted murder of 250,000 NOT as an act of war but a violation of the law. Absurd you say..?? Consider John Kerry...See below.

The other massive error is related to this error. Finally when they accepted that Bin Laden was waging war on us they still did NOT want to wage war on him, turning down offers to gain control of Bin Laden because the Janet Reno Justice Dept couldn't make a case against him. Then finally they even refused to kill him when they had the chance. Barring the CIA from assassinating him.

Will John Kerry bring us back to this nightmare absurdity? Oooh yea but give him a chance to change his mind a few more times. When he finally acts it will differ little from Clinton except that it will probably be even less effective.

But it's primarily an intelligence and law enforcement operation that requires cooperation around the world -- the very thing this administration is worst at. And most importantly, the war on terror is also an engagement in the Middle East economically, socially, culturally, in a way that we haven't embraced, because otherwise we're inviting a clash of civilizations.

MSNBC - Osama bin Laden: missed opportunities: "It's dynamite. It's putting together all of the pieces, and that doesn't happen every day. I guess you could say we've done it once, and this is it, Arkin added. The tape proves the Clinton administration was aggressively tracking al-Qaida a year before 9/11. But that also raises one enormous question: If the U.S. government had bin Laden and the camps in its sights in real time, why was no action taken against them? We were not prepared to take the military action necessary, said retired Gen. Wayne Downing, who ran counter-terror efforts for the current Bush administration and is now an NBC analyst.

We should have had strike forces prepared to go in and react to this intelligence, certainly cruise missiles either air- or sea-launched very, very accurate, could have gone in and hit those targets, Downing added. Gary Schroen, a former CIA station chief in Pakistan, says the White House required the CIA to attempt to capture bin Laden alive, rather than kill him. What impact did the wording of the orders have on the CIA's ability to get bin Laen. It reduced the odds from, say, a 50 percent chance down to, say, 25 percent chance that we were going to be able to get him, said Schroen.

A Democratic member of the 9/11 commission says there was a larger issue: The Clinton administration treated bin Laden as a law enforcement problem."

So naturally any sane person would believe that the Clinton's administration policy of treating terrorism as a Law Enforcement Issue would be abandoned by the current apparent Democratic Nominee for President right? Ooopsie apparently not! Here is John Kerry in the South Carolina debate describing how we should proceed.

Bears repeating....

Hollywoodreporter Interesting article about The Passion of Christ which I saw last night. What an amazing movie. Extremely moving account of Jesus last 12 hours. How can anyone complain about this movie is beyond understanding. Only a deliberate desire to see bad in the great good of the film could bring out the sorts of critiques we have seen these last 12 months. To see Jesus beg forgiveness for those who persecute him is to watch the best refutation of those monsters who accused the Jews of murdering Him. The movie makes it very clear that Jesus came to us to die for our sins and that nothing of this earth could save him. Only his father could allow the Chalice to pass from him.

To say that only Jews play the evil parts in the Passion Play is to miss the sadistic glee the Romans take in torturing him. Anyone claiming this must have also missed several other parts, in the beginning when a group of the Pharasies walked out of the abomination of a trial protesting that it was wrong, or they missed when the overwhelming number of people cried to see him walk the path to Golgotha. No this was no condemnation of the Jews or the Romans, the guilt lays on us all.

This film also serves another purpose. You cannot but be impressed by the contrast of the religion of Jesus compared to the beliefs of those monsters who are attacking us.

Since John Kerry loves to make so much of his service in Vietnam and his support of this group, the same group that plotted to kill United States Congressmen, shouldnt he explain where he stands in relation to this statement by the Vietnam Vets Against the War? Does he believe that they are correct in blaming the US for the attacks? Should we abandon Israel as they suggest? Do we oppress? Is the United States a force of good or evil in the world? Its pretty evident where this group stands, where does Kerry stand? Does Kerry forgive Mr. Camil for his part in the conspiracy to murder US Congressmen to protest the Vietnam War?

Vietnam Veterans Against the War: Commentary: Vietnam Veterans Against the War Statement on September 11 Attacks Afghanistan has already been destroyed by 20 years of foreign occupation, civil war and religious repression. Both the British and Soviet armies were unable to conquer that country. We see many parallels between Vietnam and Afghanistan but the lessons we should have learned from the war in Vietnam are being ignored today.

We are an organization of veterans of the armed forces of this country. We have been to war and have seen what military power can and cannot accomplish. We know what war does to those who fight it and those who live where it is fought. We hear our government loudly pledge support for our servicemen and women as they are sent into battle but have seen it turn its back on many when they returned, suffering physical and mental wounds, from the Vietnam and Gulf wars.

We speak out of duty to our country and the world, solidarity with those serving in the military and love of our families and friends when we take this stand:

We condemn the criminal attacks of September 11 and demand that those responsible be held accountable and brought to justice.

We mourn for the victims and offer our heartfelt sorrow and sympathy to the families and friends of those we lost.

We condemn bigotry and violence against Arabs, Muslims and immigrants which threaten these communities because of their race, nationality and religion.

We oppose efforts to curtail our basic civil liberties and democratic rights and must defend the Constitution from those who are undermining it.

We do not believe that militarism and war will provide justice or security and oppose major US military intervention in Afghanistan or other countries.

On a more fundamental level, our country has to address the reasons behind the violence that has now come to our shores. The seeds of this anger and hatred were sown over many years.

For over a century, Western corporations have dominated the Middle East to profit from its oil. For the last 50 years, the United States has supported Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands and has helped prop up corrupt regimes in some Arab countries. The continued American troop presence in Saudi Arabia and the suffering of the Iraqi people under economic sanctions has added to this resentment.

As long as US foreign policy continues to be based on corporate exploitation and military domination, we will continue to make more enemies in the poor, underdeveloped countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America. We can achieve enduring security and lasting peace only through domestic and foreign policies based on social and economic justice. That will come about only when the American people demand it.

Oopsie I think someone better go let that reporter from the Boston Globe know that Kerry is contradicting her remaking of the story about the Foreign Leaders who prefer John Kerry to President Bush. Besides hasnt the coward who won the Election in Spain already said he would prefer Kerry? Hat Tip to Instapundit and Drudge....

Yahoo! News - Kerry Pressed on Foreign Leader Claims: "Kerry declined to name any leaders who have voiced support for his candidacy, but said it's clear to even casual observers of foreign policy issues that this country's standing has sagged internationally. 'I'm not going to betray a private conversation with anybody,' he said Sunday. 'I have heard from people, foreign leaders elsewhere in the world who don't appreciate the Bush administration and would love to see a change in the leadership of the United States.' Pressed on the campaign trail and by reporters to name the leaders, Kerry declined, although he said they were U.S. allies. 'I'm talking about people who were our friends nine months ago,' said Kerry. 'I'm talking about people who ought to be on our side in Iraq (news - web sites) and aren't because this administration has pushed them away.' "

"The point is that all across the world, America is meeting with a new level of hostility," he said. "There are relationships that have been broken. I think what's important for us as a country is to rebuild those relationships." Kerry said he is within his rights in keeping confidential conversations he has had with foreign leaders. "I don't think Colin Powell or the president would start listing the names of people who said something critical," he said. In his campaign, Kerry routinely bashes President Bush (news - web sites) for conducting "a reckless and arrogant foreign policy" damaging to national security. "I think people understand that the United States has lost some of the good will that we had extended to us immediately after Sept. 11. To ignore it is to ignore the reality of the world we live in," he says. Kerry has not traveled abroad since he joined the presidential race, but he said he has heard a lot from foreign leaders. "I have heard from people around the world that they look forward to the day they would have an administration they could work with," he said. But he said: "No leader would obviously share a conversation if I started listing them. The point is that all across the world, America is meeting with a new level of hostility."

Lets see now how does that jive with this story? Nah no Liberal Bias to the News here...folks just move along nothing to see.

GLOBE REPORTER CLAIMS TAPE RECORDED KERRY 'MORE' LEADERS NOT 'FOREIGN' LEADERS; TRANSCRIPTION 'SCREW-UP'
A BOSTON GLOBE reporter at the center of a growing controversy over comments made by John Kerry last week in Florida now claims he "screwed-up" -- and John Kerry never bragged how "foreign leaders" privately backed his presidential bid! "I mistranscribed a key word," explains Patrick Healy, a political reporter for the BOSTON GLOBE who covered the event in a pool capacity."Listening to the audio recorder now, in the quiet of my house, I hear 'more leaders' and I am certain that 'more leaders' is what Senator Kerry said."

Never trust a person with a lower lip that quivers to defend you against the Islamofacists....

The money quote in this article comes towards the end but its all very much worth reading. I am reminded of the Nazi Camp survivor quote.
"First they arrested the Communists -- but I was not a Communist, so I did nothing. Then they came for the Social Democrats, but I was not a Social Democrat, so I did nothing. Then they arrested the trade unionists -- and I did nothing because I was not one. And then they came for the Jews and the Catholics, but I was neither a Jew nor a Catholic and I did nothing. At last they came and arrested me -- and there was no one left to do anything about it."
--Nazi Prison Survivor: Rev. Martin Niemoller

Telegraph | Opinion | Euro isolationism is triumphant: "Above all, the Americans and sympathetic European governments have not managed to convey the idea that there is no policy shift which they might undertake that would appreciably alter Islamist behaviour. The idea abounds that if the West somehow withdrew from Iraq or transferred more wealth to the mases of the Maghreb that all of this would stop. De-ideologised, post-modern man is particularly bad at grasping the ideological nature of its foes. The fact that many Islamists believe in reversing the reconquista of the Iberian peninsula appears to have made little difference to millions of Spaniards. The desire not to take our enemies at face value, in word and deed, is the hallmark of much of contemporary Europe."

Brave talk from a man who built his election on fear and surrender. The Spainiards who voted this person into office are a shameful bunch, cowards one and all.

Spanish PM-elect vows to pull troops out of Iraq, lashes Bush: "Zapatero firmly aligned himself with France and Germany, which opposed the war from the start, in calling the invasion an 'error'. Spain's contingent, the sixth-largest in Iraq, has suffered 11 deaths, including those of seven intelligence agents ambushed in November. Bush and Blair, both of whom are facing elections in coming months, need to engage in 'self-criticism,' Zapatero said. 'You can't bomb a people' over a perceived threat, Zapatero said in comments coming five days before the first anniversary of the March 20 start of the war. 'You can't organise a war on the basis of lies,' he said, alluding to Bush's and Blair's insistence the war was justified by their belief -- so far unfounded -- that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that posed an imminent threat.

Imminent threat, Imminent threat...all we hear from these cowards both in the Democrat party and leftist around the world is the chant no imminent threat. Why doesnt Zapatero ask those Spainiards who have died in the attacks whether they believe there is an imminent threat yet? Why doesnt Kerry ask those who jumped from the towers whether there is an imminent threat...? I dont recall anyone warning us that Libya was an imminent threat and yet Im watching Fox News while pictures of their captured nuclear weapons are being shown.

I will tell you why the Bush administration shouldnt wait till a threat becomes imminent, because if they do the Democrats and leftists will run over each other in attempt to be the first to surrender to whomever might become an imminent threat.

'Wars such as that which has occurred in Iraq only allow hatred, violence and terror to proliferate,' he said.
The head of the EU executive arm, European Commission chief Romano Prodi, agreed, in an interview published by Italy's La Stampa newspaper Monday. 'It is clear that using force is not the answer to resolving the conflict with terrorists,' Prodi said. 'Terrorism is infinitely more powerful than a year ago,' and all of Europe now feels threatened, he told the paper."

Infinitely more powerful? Is everyone smoking crack in Europe? So far they havent died in the numbers we have. What is the excuse the cowards in Europe use to explain how the terrorists got so powerful that they were able to kill 3,000 and nearly cripple our nation...? Till that time all we had done is run from Terrorists and surrender as those cowards in Europe are doing.

John Kerry's list of enemies only includes Republicans. Notice there is no mention of the Thugs threatening civilization in this email that the Iranian News Agency claimed was sent to them by the Kerry Campaign. Ya think that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is one of those guys who support a Kerry Win in November. Well we know who the Terrorists wanted to win in Spain, the appeasing Socialists and they got their wish, all it took was killing a couple of hundred people. Maybe John Kerry will get lucky and Al Queda will come to the US to campaign for him by killing a few thousand people. I wonder how many people would have to die to swing the election? Im sure that John Kerry just wants to win and any price is ok by him. After all how moral can a campaign be that hires a man who plotted to kill members of Congress and admitted as much? For that sort of campaign is anything out of bounds? I wonder was John Kerry projecting when he claimed that the Republicans were the dirtiest, crookedest, meanest and most terriblest bunch of mean people he had ever seen...??

Special Dispatch Series - No. 661: "''We believe John Kerry is the Democrat who can go toe-to-toe against the current Administration on national security and defense issues. We also remain convinced that John Kerry has the best chance of beating the incumbent in November, and putting America on a new course that will lead to a safer, more secure, and more stable world.'' To those who voted against the Socialists thank you for your courage...to the rest!

Cowards! The Spanish people were faced with murderous thugs who threaten civilization and they chose to blink. By voting in the Socialist Party they have spoken clearly to the thugs that the Europeans can be intimidated. The Socialists had campaigned on withdrawing Spains support of our war on terror. The Terrorists saw a chance to test the alliance and the alliance was found wanting because of fear. The Spanish cowards have condemned the rest of the world to further attempts in influencing their elections. Thanks Spainish cowards....now go cower in the corner with the children while the adults continue to fight for western civilization without you.

Ironically no one is making too much of the fact that the terrorists struck against the Spainish people because of Spains armed forces fighting so valiantly next to ours in Iraq. If they werent allied with Saddam why do they take it so personally that Iraq has been liberated? Iraq was part of the war on terror, and not only that but the terrorists know that if we are successful in Iraq they have been handed a major defeat. From the center of the Middle East we can control those terror regimes who thought they were immune from reprisals. Now they will find out what happens to those who join the terrorists.

The Spainish people who blinked should be ashamed of themselves.

Hey plan to be a terrorist in 1971 by killing members of the Senate and House and get a spot on the Kerry Campaign in 2004. No wonder the Haughty French Looking Senator doesn't have any plan to combat terror on his site. He hasn't decided yet who are the good guys.

HOW KERRY QUIT VETERANS GROUP AMID DARK PLOT
“My plan was that, on the last day we would go into the [congressional] offices we would schedule the most hardcore hawks for last — and we would shoot them all,” Mr. Camil told the Oral History interviewer. “I was serious.”

In a phone interview with the Sun this week, Mr. Camil did not dispute either the account in the Nicosia book or in the oral history. He said he plans to accept an offer by the Florida Kerry organization to become active in Mr. Kerry’s presidential campaign. Campaign aides to Mr. Kerry invited Mr.Camil to a meeting for the senator in Orlando last week, but they did not meet directly.

Mr. Camil was known to colleagues in the anti-war movement as “Scott the Assassin.” Mr. Camil told The New York Sun he got the name in Vietnam for “sneaking down to the Vietnamese villages at night and killing people.”

According to the Nicosia book and interviews with VVAW members who were involved, at theVietnamVeterans Against the War Kansas City leadership conference, Mr. Camil tried to put his plan into effect. He called together eight to 10 Marines to organize something he called “The Phoenix Project.” The original Phoenix Project during the Vietnam War was an attempt to destroy the Viet Cong leadership by assassination. Mr. Camil’s Phoenix Project planned to execute the Southern senatorial leadership that was financing the Vietnam War. Senators like John Stennis, Strom Thurmond, and John Tower were his targets, according to Mr. Camil. They were to be killed during the Senate Christmas recess the following month.
