We made it in Baton Rouge with minor problems. We are waiting for word on my terrific Mother in Law who is a pediatrician in New Orleans who went to the Superdome to help on Saturday. She treated 500 patients the first day. We are praying that she gets evacuated soon as disease and pestilence will not spare doctors. But we don't know how to get her out.
Posting is difficult due to lack of power and phone in Baton Rouge. Pray for New Orleans and please stop passing around goofy statements like N.O. dodged a bullet. We didn't dodge shit. Yea it could have been worse, but thats like saying the Tsunami could have been worse in Asia since 5 million could have died instead of 2 million.
