Jeffery is so darn cute, he banned me after I had the audacity to fact check him regarding Shepard Smith's broadcast on the overpass, but it looks like he really wants to play since he cannot stop mentioning my name. Trust me I am not going to drop a bar of soap around this guy.
Its easy to play there Jeffery, yea I know you read my blog to see what else you have screwed up, just answer these simple questions. Explain exactly how long you could go if you were stuck on an overpass without food and water. You whimpered that it was absurd for Shepard Smith to declare that those on the overpass were in danger, you have yet to explain exactly how long you could have gone without in 90+ heat. You have whimpered that Shepard Smith should have said that those people on the overpass were warned to bring their own food and water and have yet to explain exactly how one carries 3 days supply of water several miles through flooded streets. Furthermore you have shown your complete and utter ignorance of the situation because those people on the overpass were NOT the ones asked to bring food and water with them. It was the people prior to the hurricane that were specifically going to the Superdome who were told to bring food and water. Because even that dumb ass Nagin knew that carrying three days of water through flooded streets might be a bit harder than you imagine.
But worst of all Jeffery you make such completely dumb ass statements like:
"Thanks to his reporting, we believed the absolute worst about the federal response. We believed the city had descended into anarchy—with crime and suffering the rule. Thanks to his reporting, we had no context in which to place the extent of the damage (the area affected being the size of Utah or Great Britain; the destruction of the infrastructure and roadways creating logistical nightmares for rescuers, who overcome incredible obstacles to get into the city, etc.)—and so the whole world was reduced to the microcosm of his camera’s reach and his own description of events."
Shepard Smith did all of that!?!?!? Wow who knew he had such authority, hey you sure you aren't engaging in that "exaggeration to make a point thingy" that some journalists use? Nah no one could be that dumb...course having nothing but yes men commenting on your blog you might start to think you really are as smart as your mum always told you, you were.
At least in Shepard Smiths defense he was actually using exaggeration to get some water and food to some people who desperately needed it. Whats your excuse Jeffery?
Btw the city did indeed descend into suffering and crime....nothing you have said or shown proves otherwise.
Found this at Wizbang so only fair to trackback to the post.
Oopsy looks like FEMA was a "bit behind", sheesh who knew? And looting mentioned in September 1 by a top FEMA official, hey none of that happened. I blame Shepard Smith.
