One of the best articles I have read describing this war, describes the war as a war between religions, not the ones you might imagine. After all the religion of the United States is not Christianity, though Christians are the vast majority, no the religion of the US is the religion of Freedom. That is what this monument should be all about, the heroics we carry out in the defense of Freedom.
Those incredibly brave passengers on Flt 93 were fighting for our religion, the right of all of us to live in Freedom. And thats what this memorial should be singing to the high heavens the pride and glory of Freedom and the riches it gives each and every one of us. That way people visiting the memorial might have some understanding in 200 years or so what those brave men and women on Flt 93 meant to us. Instead we get this sneaky attempt at dhimmitude from a bunch of artists whose goal in life is apparently to sneak one by on us.
The hero's of Flt93 gave us our first victory in this most desperate battle. With all of our powerful weapons, incredibly well trained soldiers, brilliant airmen and our hero's of the Navy, it was left to Free Americans to give this country what it so desperately needed that day, victory. In less than 30 minutes, in typically American make it up as you go fashion, they started foiling a plot, by the most terrible of enemies, that was four years in the making. A victory for freedom this country's greatest gift to the world.
The Flt93 Memorial must be above all a testimony to the heroics of those passengers in defense of freedom. This sneaky attempt at dhimmitude is obscene.
