- A Common Man Looks at the War on Islamic Terror -

Freedom and fear are at war.
The advance of human freedom the great achievement of
our time, and the great hope of every time now depends on us.

Our nation this generation will
lift a dark threat of violence
from our people and our future.
We will rally the world to
this cause by our efforts,
by our courage.
We will not tire,
we will not falter,
we will not fail. George Bush 9/20/2001

What the enemy believes
We are not fighting so
that you will offer us
something.
We are fighting
to eliminate you.

Searching for Nukes with both hands tied behind our backs, put there by our press and government employee's
Lets see now, if we take the bit about Muslims out of that USA TODAY headline "EXCLUSIVE: Nuclear Monitoring of Muslims Done Without Search Warrants", how many Americans would think this headline" Nuclear Monitoring done without search warrants" is a bad idea? Most Americans would no doubt hope that their government is doing everything, and I mean everything possible including keeping people standing and shining bright lights into the poor dears eyes, to stop some maniacal follower of a corrupt 7th Century religion from fulfilling his latent desire to molest
Virginians.

Must not be very many Americans at USA Today. Apparently USA Today is in a race with the New York Times to see which one of them can do the most damage to our national security first. What else is to be thought of two papers which knowingly publish articles having to do with top secret operations in the midst of a war? At what point does this become treason? Can anyone imagine what the reaction would have been in WW2 of a US Paper publishing the fact that we had broken both the German and Japanese codes? Now with the stakes immeasurably more dire, nothing happens.

When asked by this our President indicates that he hopes the Justice Department is looking into leaks that allowed the NYT to publish its entry in the race to the bottom of the pile. He hopes??? Where the hell are the counter intelligence agents, asleep? Are all of our intelligence services being run by Inspector Clouseau?

While it may be hard, prior to some Nuclear Cloud darkening the skies over a US city, to prosecute the New York Times and USA Today for publishing top secret operations in war time. That same protection cannot extend to those in the Government who leak top secret operations. Those people must be found out by our Counter Intelligence agents(anyone home?)and instead of being brought before a civil court simply prosecuted in a military tribunal and stuck away for a very long time, if not shot. We are not talking about telling us about who Clinton slept with or exactly what is wrong with Nixon, we are talking about revealing operations that are being run to prevent a nuclear holocaust in our country. If that is not serious enough to cause some harsh action against those who thwart those operations then we are all doomed.

It goes without saying that if our Counter Intelligence agents cannot locate some bumbling traitor talking to newspapers what hope is there that they will be able to detect traitors in our midst? We are at war...a war with a bunch of fanatics who would just dearly love to send most of New York City up in a mushroom cloud. If that does not bring a measure of urgency to the proceedings then we are doomed. Where are our Counter Intelligence agents and why aren't the leaker's being found out and made to pay?

Lets take a look at the information revealed about our desperate attempts to prevent a nuclear holocaust from murdering millions of us.

MSM with the aid of a traitor inside our government revealed that the operations existed.
Two individuals, who declined to be named because the program is highly classified, spoke to U.S. News because of their concerns about the legality of the program.

MSM with the aid of a traitor inside our government revealed the tactics being used by the operations.
To ensure accurate readings, in up to 15 percent of the cases the monitoring needed to take place on private property, sources say, such as on mosque parking lots and private driveways.

MSM with the aid of a traitor inside our government revealed the targets of our investigations.
At its peak, they say, the effort involved three vehicles in Washington, D.C., monitoring 120 sites per day, nearly all of them Muslim targets drawn up by the FBI.

MSM with the aid of a traitor inside our government revealed the cities we centered our investigations inside of, thereby making our enemies efforts much easier to direct since he knows where we are focusing. In WW2 this would have been akin to letting Hitler know we were coming to Normandy. Though on D-Day we weren't possibly going to lose up-wards of a millions souls. The latest estimate for a Nuclear Blast in NYC is 1.5 Million dead.
For some ten months, officials conducted daily monitoring, and they have resumed daily checks during periods of high threat. The program has also operated in at least five other cities when threat levels there have risen: Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, New York, and Seattle.

MSM with the aid of a traitor inside our government revealed that some in our government do not agree with these tactics thereby enabling our enemies some chance to turn some of our most sensitive agents. Though if we are lucky they may go to work for the enemy only to have their heads chopped off when their usefulness comes to an end.
"The targets were almost all U.S. citizens," says the source. "A lot of us thought it was questionable, but people who complained nearly lost their jobs. We were told it was perfectly legal."

Perhaps if we will get lucky, and those maniacs from a corrupt 7th Century religion blow up a weapon in NYC, it will be around 38st and 8th Avenue thereby taking out both USA Today and the New York Times saving us from having to prosecute them for revealing secret programs. Secret programs that might have stopped their incineration. Yes I know that is a radical thing to say and I am sure that many of you might be shocked but I am tired of this quibbling about how the press is absolutely protected from any repercussions of their actions by the Constitution. That may be so but I suspect that after a nuclear cloud rises up to the skies over some city that many of us, if not the entire country will take a very dim view of their "rights". Their protection will vanish just like the city below did in the flames of a nuclear holocaust those papers did nothing to stop. We will have lost a valuable tool but only in theory because right now they do more harm than good. Not merely mistaken, on the otherside.
