- A Common Man Looks at the War on Islamic Terror -

Freedom and fear are at war.
The advance of human freedom the great achievement of
our time, and the great hope of every time now depends on us.

Our nation this generation will
lift a dark threat of violence
from our people and our future.
We will rally the world to
this cause by our efforts,
by our courage.
We will not tire,
we will not falter,
we will not fail. George Bush 9/20/2001

What the enemy believes
We are not fighting so
that you will offer us
something.
We are fighting
to eliminate you.
Hussein Massawi,
a former Hezbollah leader.

WMD's in Syria? So says two Generals from two different countries, Iraq and Israel...can they both be wrong?
President Bush dithered prior to going to war with Iraq, wasting tremendous amounts of time with diplomacy. While he was wasting this time, Saddam was busy making plans for the defense of Iraq and the return of his regime. He also made plans for the recovery of the weapons, that President Bush now assures us didn't exist, by shipping to Syria.

Apparently both a Israeli General who was equivalent to our Joint Chiefs Chairman during the critical time period when the weapons would have been moved and an Iraqi Air Force General who was number 2 in the Iraqi Air Force have proof that the weapons were moved to Syria.

Now again as I did in an
earlier article I have a question. What was worse, our not finding the weapons because they didn't exist. Or our not finding the weapons because we dithered for so long Saddam had time to move them.

All along I have believed that President Bush was immune from attacks of the left since they are just so much uneducated squawking from people whose interest is not our Countries long term survival. But we fail on the right if we do not hold our President to account for failing to find the weapons we all know existed. Is our interest in his political survival or our countries survival. Of course it may be that the President's political survival is essential to our countries survival but we haven't even reached that point in the debate.

Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria, Sada Says - January 26, 2006 - The New York Sun - NY Newspaper: "The man who served as the no. 2 official in Saddam Hussein's air force says Iraq moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria "

Another longer article on the same topic on this site: Iran, Iraq, WMD's, Bush lied people died and other nonsense of the left and right!
