Glenn points to an article by Strategy Page on airport security just in time to add fuel to the fire. Today my mother flew in to Baton Rouge from Las Vegas for her after Taxes holiday with her Grandchildren and I would like to think to visit me (ed. doubt it). My mom is 74 years old and quite healthy. Which still doesn't excuse the FULL 1 hour search of all of her belongings coming out of Las Vegas. She was subjected to the entire repertoire of idiocy by Airport "security". Bags searched, X-Rayed, sniffed, patted down, questioned, delayed, delayed and delayed until she managed to miss her flight. So her once 5 hour ordeal to come visit her grandchildren turned into a 11 hour ordeal. Thanks a bunch dimwits.
My mom was born in Manhattan, a known hotbed of suicidal German grandmothers who are just aching, aching mind you to wrestle Norman Mineta to the ground and beat him about the head and shoulders like a red haired stepchild. Yea I know we don't profile, no we just guess who the next terrorist is going to be. The idiocy of this is simply mind-boggling. If everyone can be a terrorist then no one can be a terrorist?? hmmm....
No wonder President Bush's polls are down, this idiocy just gets worse and worse, while true criminals are flowing over the borders into our country. This idiocy goes on while the President has a chat with the leader of one of the leading murdering regimes in history, Communist China. This basket of bullshit goes on while our State Department hosts real terrorists for a little educational seminar Hattip:LGF. Grandmothers are nearly strip searched, and luckily for my mom this isnt the first time this has happened so she knows how to act (like a Dhimmi), while the goddamn President is holding hands with the Crown Prince of a regime which finances terrorists....holy shit my head is going to explode!
And no Democrats just because I am starting to really have major problems with idiot Republican policies don't start rubbing your hands with glee. Republicans tend to look good next to the sheer bloody lunacy that describes most of your party declared positions (no links, my head is hurting enough already, subjecting it to the fever swamps of Democratic "thought" won't help) and its main financial backers. Thanks but no thanks when I want to commit suicide I will simply pull a trigger not a handle for a Democrat in the voting booth. Its quicker and a lot neater.
