Sturmovik has assaulted the hardcore flight simmer just exactly when
some have been declaring the genre dead. Is the genre sick...? Maybe.
But fly this demo and find out what a passion for accuracy and flight sims
gets you when you have the skills evident in Oleg Maddox. Not only will you
see a flight model that begs to be abused and taken to the outer limits just
because it feels so good to do so...but you will see state of the art
graphics, you will hear sounds that not only add dimension to the sim but
actually allow one to fly the sim more effectively since the sounds of the
pre stall buffet were captured so magnificantly.
The sim models the Eastern Front during
World War 2 Its a story that deserves a better telling in the West
because had the Germans not been so hard hit by the Russians in the east,
the war in the west would have been stunningly more brutal. Instead the
Russians absorbed much of the strength and capability of the Nazi and
eventually turned them back.
I wanted to put a page up that shows some
of the brilliant graphics availible in the sim. As well since this sim has
such a great recording capability I wanted a place to post mine and if you
would like yours.
The first trk is one of me beating 2 Yak
set to ACE. This shows the incredible details in all aspects including the
damage model.

the demo. I did well against them but blew my landing big time! Made me

After all the boasting at the SimHQ forum here is the proof that you can kill a Ju87 with 1 (one) 37mm shell. Mind you, I s*****d-up the landing after.
